It was such a struggle to get up from the warm safety of my blankets. I literally had to talk myself into getting up. It took me half an hour to do so. My mattress is so comfy.......
Anyways. I digress. So today was the Potterluck, and Ari and i decided to go dressed up in our house colors. For those of you who don't know, I am a Slytherin. I know, I know, it's quite a shocker. Ari is in Ravenclaw.
So I wore a white button up with my green tie and the black vest. If you really want to know what I looked like, you can click here to go to another blog post of mine where Ari dressed in drag. Ari didn't wear what she was in that post, but still. We looked awesome. But because we were going all out for today, we were late to camp. It was only by a few minutes, but still. I didn't like it.
The outside activity was a Harry Potter version of rock paper scissors. My team lost. It was sad. But oh well. We went back inside and worked on LilyPad. It took me the whole time just to draw Robin and half of Batman. I'm taking it home so that I can work on it. I really need to be done with it by tomorrow. At lunch, they played the first Harry Potter movie, but I didn't see it because I wanted to work on my bag. I almost finished drawing it. All that is left is the bottom half of Batman and his symbol. I'm excited for my bag.
After lunch, we learned Python. It was so fun. I love it. It was also very easy, but that was probably because I have coded in it before. After that, we went outside and did an awesome activity where we had to sign to other people who were sitting in a circle without the person in the middle seeing. It was fun. But Noor got me out! Right after I had said I hadn't been up yet! I would think it was by design if it had been Jen or Sp. But I'll forgive Noor. This time. Afterwards, we had to learn GreenFoot. Blegh.
Blog prompt!!
Blog Prompt: If you could magically get
the power to cast one spell for the rest of your life, what spell would
you choose and why? Make up a name and purpose for your spell.
Hmmmm. I would probably want to cast a spell that would allow me to record my dreams and re-watch them. But this spell would tell me the genre and rating of the dream so that I don't have to watch them before I realize that one might be a nightmare. I really like my dreams and I seldom have them, so this spell would be put to good use. I don't know what to call it, since I am bad a creative names. I guess that's it. So long for now!!

Princesses and Zombies
Hello there, fair people!! Well. At least I hope you are fair. Anywho.
Today was awesome. Since it was a new camp, we had another orientation, but it was really short. After the welcome from Becca, we went outside. After getting into a circle (it was more like a weird oval shape), we did an activity where we went around the circle and we each had to say something we like. If people like the same thing, they step into the circle. It was fun. When that was done, we went back inside. I sat in Ari's spot, and we all moved down one seat. Right away, we started with Google Drive. It was so amusing, considering the people in my row. Linky and Belle are so funny. Especially over chat. We did a Mad Lib thing, and Linky kept putting really weird things. We used the chat thing on Drive so that we could discuss who did what without making any noise. But my god, some of the things said were so hilarious.
We had a break before we moved on to LilyPad, during which I got my whole row and Lizzy addicted to Pocket Princesses. It was awesome.
I even got my older brother hooked. I'm proud of my influence over others. So after that, we started working on LilyPad. I've been doing it since 6th grade, so I kinda flew through the projects. Lunch was amazing Lorenzo's. I love their food so much. Their bread is to die for. When we got back in afterwards, we started sewing components on. I had to help Belle a lot with hers because she kept on knotting hew string. The outside activity today was "Big Booty." I am not a fan of this game. I ended up being Big Booty the second round. It was not fun for me. We got back in and had to clean up. Then we started on our blogs and the end of day survey.
So. Blog prompt: You have a source at the CDC and she has just informed you that the government has confirmed that the Zombie Apocalypse has begun. You have 24 hours to prepare before people in your town start turning. How will you use your time to prepare for the apocalypse?
I'm going to assume my source is Jordan. Anyways. I would gather up supplies and the guns my brother left for Ari and I the last time he visited from Phoenix. I would gather my family and tell them to gather food and other weapons and supplies. I would inform my friends and other family members about the apocalypse so that they could prepare for it. I would have my family and close friends drive out towards White Sand Missile Range in the hopes of them providing shelter.

End of Week 1
So today was a little hectic. It was the last day of the first camp, and we weren't done with our projects yet, so Ari and I got there early to work on our HTML webpages. We were the first ones to get there, so it was kinda weird. I actually got quite a bit done with mine in the half hour that I had to work on it. Linky got there after us, then Jenny and Cassy, and then Belle. After that, too many people came in at the same time for me to be able to list them.
We went outside and did the human knot. We split into two groups and attempted to untangle ourselves. My group only got untangled because I switched hands with someone. Originally, my group was two different circles, so I just switched hands so that we could be one circle. We finished before Ari's group so we got to help them. They were in the same predicament, but they didn't try what I had done, either because they didn't want to, or didn't know if they could.
When that was done, we went over to the steps and took our group picture. I hate doing the silly picture because I never know what to do. Thankfully, Linky stood behind me and was messing with my hair.
Open build was after that, so I devoted it to my HTML. My fake business that I created was a store that sold gifts for twins. I decided to do this because I always have such a hard time getting gifts for Ari. Most of the things my business sold were things that I wish I had. I may or may not be getting Ari a gift from my business.......maybe.....so don't tell her! Shhh. It'll be our secret.
I finished my project pretty early, so I had Noor come over to where I sat so she could get it on her flash drive. All of my images were pictures I had saved to my laptop, so I had to put all of them onto Noor's flash drive. It made me regret saving them instead of using the URL. Oh well. I learned for next time. We went to the presenting room for a run down from Jen, and then lunch after everyone's projects were saved to a flash drive. Lunch was Mexican food. It wasn't my favorite, but I still liked it. I loved the flautas. Mom, Karim, and Noel came for lunch, so we ate with them. It was fun.
After we ate, we went into the presenting room. Noemi was first with LiveCode, and then we went through with the original schedule. I was third for HTML. People were laughing, so I think I did ok. My mouth always severs its connection to my brain when I present, so I'm not all that sure what I said was appropriate. Oh well. We finished up around 2:30. Ari and I showed Noel and Karim our codes and projects during the open lab time. I had 509 lines of code for one of my webpages. It was actually closer to 470 lines of code when you account for spacing and unnecessary pieces of code. But still. It was a lot. When we were ready to go, SP and Noor got my mom to take home a huge tray of leftover food. It was funny seeing them try to convince her. I was so tired from the day's events that I fell asleep when we got home. I was asleep until 7 at night. It was a nearly 4 hour long nap. It was awesome.
Ok. Blog prompt. My favorite memory was helping Belle with her projects. It made me feel very knowledgeable and helpful. I miss being a camp assistant, but I love being a camper as well. Helping Belle allowed me to help like a camp assistant but still be a camper. It was nice. I'm so glad to be coming back next week.

Space, Space, Space, Cookie, Space
Today was awesome. I woke up from a glorious sleep, though it was not nearly as long as I wanted it to be. My sleep was so wonderful because Noel gave me his pillow which he hates. It's a firm pillow, and he hates that about it. I, however, love firm pillows. Noel laughed when I told him that. He was like, "You like 'em firm?" To which I replied, "Yes, yes I do." But then he was all confused because I said I don't like bananas. Oh well.
So when we got in, Ari and I both started working on our HTML webpages. I'm really excited about how it will turn out. When 9 rolled around, we went outside and did the back-to-back challenge. Ari and I were of course the first ones to complete it when it was just us two. When we completed that, we did groups of four. Our group did pretty well. Our group of eight didn't work all that well. We didn't even get up before they had us do one large group. We had a lack of communication, so it took a while, but we eventually all got off the ground.
When we got back inside, we worked on Ruby. I had finished the GPA calculator by the time Jen finished explaining it, so I moved on. I was just starting the second part of the guessing game when it was time for our guest speaker. He was cool. I can't remember his name, and I'm too lazy to get up and go get his card, so he will remain nameless for now. He talked to us about this cool learning program that will be taking place sometime in September and will end in December. It sounds cool. So when he finished, Noor talked to us about the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award. She tols us about her experiences with being a National winner and going to Grace Hopper Conventions, and then she told us how she got to meet and shake hands with the president! It's so cool that she was able to represent us at the National level. And by us, I mean New Mexico. When she was done talking about her own experiences, she talked to us about applying and how it isn't really all that hard. Of course, they mentioned us, but Ari kept on saying how it was really me that the people should talk to if they want more information. Man. I really want to be a national winner. I've been a national runner-up and a local affiliate winner for the past 2 years. I think I will take Noor's offer up to email my application so she can help me improve my chances.
Lunch was sandwiches and more Avengers. Iron man reminds me of my brother Rene, so I can put up with him. The only Avenger I really like is Captain America. And maybe Thor. Maybe.
So when we got back inside, we had an open lab, and I got really far on my webpage, considering I had not a lot. I need to choose a better background picture, but still. I like it.
So. Blog prompt. I don't know exactly what space I'm supposed to be talking about. Hmm. Outer space it is!!
Well. I personally do not want to go to outer space, because quite frankly I would be terrified to go out into space in a rocket ship. I would not mind writing a program for the International Space Station to use, and I would definitely not mind being a part of mission control, but still. Outer space freaks me out. I would probably just duct tape myself to something stable so I don't float around in the space station. It would most likely be to a hard drive of some sort, so long as it's stable. Hmm. They probably have to secure all the keyboards, huh? To make sure the can actually be typed on? Yeah. Ok. Well the, I guess I'm done. So long for now!! (Now, now, cookie, now)

This is YWiC!! (You'll get the pun later on. Keep reading.)
Hello, people of the internet! I hope your day is going great, because mine is for the most part pretty awesome. I'm in a YWiC camp, I know people in said camp, and I love most of the computer languages we are learning. It's so great. I feel at home.
So today started with us going outside to do the 2 truths and a lie activity. Ari and I were in the same group with Linky and Elena. Belle was in the other group. My lie was an almost truth, if I had been Ari. I said that I have 4 older siblings. I only have three, but Ari has 4. And yes, 11 minutes counts. For those of you who don't know, I'm older than Ari by 11 minutes, and those minutes make a difference.
When we got back inside, we started on LiveCode. I got through all of the instructions, but my game didn't work on the bird level. I asked Sofi, but she couldn't find anything wrong with my code. After the break, during which Belle got 2 awesome chocolate covered granola bars since she didn't eat breakfast, we started on Ruby. I loved it. It was so awesome. Oh, and I did my GPA, and I still have a 4.0!! It's just barely, but it still counts!!
After Ruby, we ate lunch. Lunch was sandwiches and chips. We started watching The Avengers, which wasn't my cup of tea. Lilia has been wanting me to see it since forever, but I just don't like Marvel. I'm a DC girl all the way. You can't deny how awesome Batman is.
Ok. So after we finished with that, we went into the computer lab where the YWiC camp of 2012 was. It brought back so many memories. I miss Jordan and Vero so much. I miss Mica too, but I saw her way more than I saw the other two in the past two years. Anywho. So we worked on Linux and it was fun. I loved it. I was freezing where I sat, though. My spot had its own little microclimate. I was freezing, but Belle was somewhat warm. I had to move over a bit to prevent myself from freezing to death. After that, we went back into the room and signed up for parts we will sing for the Let it Go music video. I will be doing a part with Linky and Belle.
So. Blog Prompt. If I could go to anywhere during any time period, I would go back to the times of the Spartans. During Spartan times, young girls were raise much like boys, in that they received physical fitness training. Women did not have dowries, since they believed brides should be chosen for their character. The mothers of Spartan times were able to become the heads of the household when their husbands were off to war. They could even divorce their husbands without fear of losing their wealth. Women received an education, though most likely not as extensive as their male counterparts. I would much rather go to this time period than any other because women were actually almost equal to men. This is an amazing fact considering the time period. I don't think I would want to go to the future because it kinda scares me. I know women would probably be treated more equal to men in the future, but I just think going to see history and living through it would be cool. Granted, it would not be as great as now, but still. Hmmm. I just had another thought. I may want to got to Aztec times. I am part Aztec, and it would be so cool to see how my ancestors lived. The culture interests me, but the human sacrifice isn't appealing. And women were not as equal to men as in Spartan times. I guess that's it. So long for now!!
P.S. I don't know everything about Spartan culture, so don't ruin my wanting to go to that time period by telling me the horrors of it, please. That is all.

Batgirl!!!!
So today started off with me needing more sleep. I actually had a restful night's rest, but it should have been longer. We had decided yesterday that we would wear our superhero swag today, so I wore my Batgirl shirt with the cape. It was awesome. SP made herself a cape out of a plastic tablecloth and an "R" out of duct tape so that she could be my Robin. She looked awesome.
Our first activity was Spoons. I dropped my styrofoam ball early on the first round, but managed to stay until the final, like, 8 people. It was cool. Belle and I launched our styrofoam balls at each other using our spoons while we waited for the victors to be crowned. It was fun. When we got back inside, we worked on HTML. I loved it. We did multiple projects so that we would have a lot of examples for our own projects.
After HTML, we worked on LiveCode, and my stupid project closed out before I could save it again. I had to start over almost from scratch, but I was pretty much caught up by the time lunch rolled around. Lunch was from the Mix, and it was actually pretty good. I don't really like Asian cuisine because I can't really handle the oils, but I thought it was good. Linky told me how she says that people know when they have crossed a line with me because I have a certain look.
When lunch was over, we worked on our Google Drive projects. Belle and I are basically done. When that was over, we worked some more on LiveCode. Belle had the same problem as me, and had to start over. She got caught up, and almost as far as me. So I guess it was good. When we finished that, we continued working on HTML. We started our final projects, and I decided that I would do a twin business. It would be dedicated to gifts for twins. You would not believe how hard it is to get twin-related items. Our quince was a nightmare. Anywho.
Ok. Blog prompt. "If you could change the world by developing a device using computer science, what would it be and how would it change the world we live in? Describe it in one paragraph."
Hmmmm. This is a hard one. I'm not really sure. Hmmm. I think what I would do is create a device that would allow someone to download their memories onto a hard drive or to the cloud. Most of our memories are reconstructed one, and are therefore unreliable. This would greatly help in law enforcement because then cases where innocent people are convicted would not happen. If the memories could be downloaded, then they could be viewed and analyzed. This might also help with people with amnesia, so that they could settle back into their lives with greater ease.

First Day
Whew. First day of camp, done. It was a fun and exciting day, and I'm happy with how many girls I know in this camp. It felt so weird to be a camper, instead of a helper. I was so tempted to help clean up after lunch, and not guiding the girls outside felt so weird.
We did the animal sound game, and Belle was very reluctant to do it. She really didn't want to get whale, and told me that she would just say the word if she did. When that was over, we went inside and learned core concepts and then did the hour of code activity. Ari, Benita, and I were the first three to finish. It was awesome. After that, we were paired off and then had to do a Google Drive activity. We had to do research on a computer science related job. Belle and I chose to do computer and information systems manager. They made a ton of money. We didn't have long to work on it before lunch was ready. It was awesome. Lunch was Lorenzo's and we had spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo. It was so delicious. I was traumatized, though. Towards the end of lunch, I stole Belle's chair, and was talking to Linky and Belle, when I turned around to talk to Ari. I did not see Ari. Instead, I saw Galen's butt right in my face. She had apparently been shaking her butt by my face for a while. They all started laughing at the expression on my face when I realized. It was traumatizing. Contrary to what some may think, I am not a butt person.
After lunch, we worked on HTML. It was awesome. I loved the web page that I made. It looks so awesome. I have a white tiger on it. After that, we went outside for another activity. We did the name game, and I just so happened to be the last one, no thanks to SP. I did it almost perfectly, though, so I guess it was ok. When we got back inside, we worked on LiveCode. It was ok, but not my favorite. Anywho. Sorry it's a day late, but I was busy. So long for now!

Broken
So. Lesli broke up with me today. It was a long, drawn out break up. I kinda wish she had done it sooner. I was already prepared for it by last Saturday. I knew she would break up with me. Maybe I should have told her that. Maybe I should have broken up with her first. If I had, maybe I could have avoided all the horrible things she said to me. I don't know. I'm just really glad she wants to stay friends. I still need her in my life, even if it's just as a friend. I will stay friends with her. How can I not? I saw this picture, and I thought about us, and I don't know which is worse.
I think I will always be in love with her. She is my first love. But I don't know of she ever was. I want to believe she was, but I don't know. Is it weird how well I'm handling this? I'm not upset or anything. I just feel relief. I think it's relief that this whole thing is finally over. And that we will still be friends. I just hope she won't freak out or something when I get a new girlfriend. I'm not saying I will by the time school starts, but I just don't want her getting jealous or something. I really don't want her to pull a Rachel and tell me she is still in love with me. I know I will be ok if she gets in another relationship. I want her to be happy. She wasn't with me, and that's ok. I just hope she can find happiness. She deserves at least that after what she has been through. And I hope she talks to someone. She needs professional help, I think. After everything she has been through, she needs to at least talk to someone. Ok. Enough of this.

Very Very Hungry
Happy Hunger Day!! For those of you who don't know, today is the YWiC Hunger Games for the middle school camp. All day has been about the Hunger Games. Our first outside activity was the spoons one, in which we all had a spoon and a Styrofoam ball. The object of the game was to carry the ball on the spoon and try to hit surrounding people's balls off without dropping your own. It was pretty intense. I think it gave the girls a glimpse at how the games will be.
So the first thing they did was NXT. While they were doing that, Belle, Galen, Ari and I were all getting things ready for the Hunger Games tonight. We cut out and made the district badges while the girls figured out how to add a touch sensor.
Lunch was pizza, and we watched The Hunger Games while we ate. It was so fun. I always get so upset because I could have gotten an autograph from Jennifer Lawrence before she was famous, but I didn't. So when Ari and I were in the fourth grade, this indi movie crew came to film part of The Burning Plain here in this city. The filmed all the house scenes across the street from my older sister's house. After getting permission, they used my sister's property to store some of the movie equipment, and my sister's house became a day care of sorts for the child actors. Jennifer Lawrence never really went in there, but after all the filming was done, the whole child cast went in and shot pictures in her living room and bedroom, which was weird. But I have yet to find any of the pictures, so I have no proof! But oh well.
So the afternoon was kinda a blur for me. I was so tired and so out of it, but I still managed to help like two people, successfully. After the activity, Belle and I sat outside of the room, folding bandanas for the hunger games tonight. She was talking with this weird accent that I cannot place, and she doesn't know what it is either. It was funny. I got really hyper off of the lollipops, but I crashed at around 2:30. Noor said I looked so tired. But I can't be! I have to be ready to kill innocent people! Not really kill, but still. I will be a head game keeper this time, so I will be the one unleashing the fire or something like that. I'm so excited! I hope these hunger games will be awesome. I have no idea who will be victor, but I know it could be anybody. Ok the. I guess that's it for now. So long!

Better Days Ahead
Today will be a million times better than yesterday. I hope. Anywho. So I have decided not to worry about the whole break situation with Lesli. This is about her finding out what she wants and what makes her happy. If I don't meet those things, that's ok. She deserves to find the person who always makes her happy, who is exactly who she wants. I will not stand in the way of that. I'll just wait and see what she wants, and go along with her decision.
So today was County Contest for 4-H, and the theme this year was Frozen, of course. With how well it did in theaters, it didn't surprise me at all that it was the theme. So I didn't really feel like I did anything productive today. Ari and I were supposed to help our dad with the contest he was supervising, which was home ec demos. There was hardly anyone there, and they were done super early. So then we went downstairs to where our mom was. She helped Karim with prepared speeches, but again, no one was there. So when there was a lull, she went with us to impromptu speaking, the one contest Ari and I did this year. It was pretty easy. We go in, pick three unknown topic from a container, read the topics, and then decide which one to write about. Being senior members, I had three minutes to prepare the speech, and it had to last between 3 and 5 minutes. The topic I chose was what it means to be a winner. I spoke for three minutes and nine seconds. I just talked about what I though being a winner meant. Anywho, so after we both did that, we had lunch. It was amazing spaghetti. When we finished with that, Ari and I went outside to warm up, since the building was freezing. We were out there for quite a while. Then we went back after they had judged the last speech. When that was over and done with, Noel took us out driving. It was fun. He said he was impressed. We drove around student housing at NMSU, so we had to be really careful. I'm so glad I didn't hit anyone, or anything. I had fun, and I'm so glad he was impressed. All in all, I have driven almost two hours. I love it. Sometimes other cars still scare me, but I think practice will help me get over it.
Right now, I'm just vegging until I have to go to church. During the summer, the 11 o' clock mass is canceled, so the choir I play with either has to split the time with the 9 o' clock choir, or just play on Saturdays. We decided this year to just play on Saturdays. That mass is at five in the evening. So I'm just sitting here, on the computer. I'm going to post this even though I still have stuff to do. I guess I'll just blog about it later. Anyways. Plans for tomorrow. We are going to the movies with Leah at around four, and then hopefully to music in the park. I told Lesli about it, but I'm not sure she will go. I'm not sure I want her to go. The whole point was to see her, but since we are on break, I'm not so sure that would be a good idea. Oh well. What happens, happens. I'll deal with it when it does. So long for now!

Suckiness.
Today just really sucks. Most of it's carry-over from yesterday, but still. It's a sucky day today. I guess I should tell you about last night.
So last night at around midnight, I got a text from Lesli saying she needed to talk to me about something. It took a lot of digging and pulling, but she finally told me that she has doubts about our relationship. When she is happy, she is in love with me. When she is sad or upset or depressed, she doesn't know what she wants or feels. She is just so unsure. I talked it out with her, and we have decided to go on a break. But it will not be like the one Ross and Rachel had. She told me this morning that she didn't want to go on a break because she feels that I will realize that I'm happier without her and that I will move on. I don't think she knows that no on can make me as happy as she can. I cannot move on because she is my heart and soul. I'm so in love with her. I can't just move on from that. I told her that we just need time. She needs time to work it all out. I will give it to her. I will wait for her. She is so worth waiting for. I just hope that she does come back. I think I can live if she breaks up with me completely, but I would much rather prefer if she didn't. We will still be friends during this all, but we won't be like we used to be. I hope she figures this all out soon. I want to be with her and I hope she will still want to be with me.
Ok. Enough of this. So today also sucks because it's the last day of the first camp. I will admittedly be glad to say goodbye to some of the girls leaving, but the last day always wears me down. I may edit this later, but for now I will post this. So long for now.

Brain-Deadness
Hello, readers, however few you are. Today was a kinda weird day. I woke up with a headache, which is never a good thing, and it didn't go away at all. It was worse after I ate a bunch of lollipops.
The first activity was the blanket challenge. It was amusing to see the girls try to figure it out. None of them thought of the loop holes that Galen found. One was that they could just move the blanket to the concrete, since the only rules are that feet have to be touching the blanket and no one can touch the grass. The other loop hole was that we could all link hands with one person on the blanket, and then the ones not on the blanket jump at the same time.
After that, the girls worked on their programs for scratch. And then pencil code. It was awesome. I worked on my house. It looks so cool. I don't have a picture of it, but I love it.
We didn't really have to prep much for lunch, since it was deli sandwiches. During lunch, Galen sang to the girls parts of the songs from our youth. It was sad how many girls didn't know the songs at all. Greenday is a classic. I love their songs.
After lunch, I was so brain dead that I wasn't really any help to anyone. I already posted my blog prompt on the YWiC blog, so I won't do that here. Well. I don't really have much to add. Other than I hope the girls choose the Hunger Games for the next evening activity. Ok. So long for now!

Snake!!
Well today was interesting. I woke up kinda in a good mood but then that went away when I started thinking about Lesli. I miss her so much. I know it's only been a little over a week since I saw her, but it's still hard not seeing her everyday. I think it would be better if I could talk to her more, but I only have a little amount of time to talk to her, and she isn't always available to text me back. I just wish that I could see her.
Ok. Happy thoughts now. So camp was cool. We got here a little late, so I just stayed outside in the parking lot with Sofi and waited for the girls to get here. Ari went inside with my jacket before going to the other parking lot. At 9, Sofi and I went inside. The first thing the girls did was an outside activity. We all went outside and played this awesome version of snake. Man. Most of the girls here don't even know what snake is. For those of you who don't know, snake was a game on the old Nokia phones. It was so awesome.

This game was so awesome. I could play it for hours. I've been looking for another version of this, but I haven't found a good enough app version.
So anywho. After that, Jen had Ari and I go organize the NXT Lego Robotics kits. We tool Sofi along with us, and we were almost done by lunch. Lunch was amazing pizza, and held outside of the room. When everyone was done with lunch, we went on a field trip to the bookstore, where I got Lesli this really cute elephant key chain. I don't have a pic, but it's adorable. We went back, and Sofi, Ari, and I all finished the kits. We were really brain dead.
Ok. Blog prompt. If I had $10,000 and I couldn't keep it, I would give it all to my girlfriend Lesli. I know that may seem selfish and definitely not very giving in terms of charity, but her family has always had money issues. I want her to be able to not have to worry so much about it. She could use it to either travel for a year, or put it towards college. I know she would love it.
P.S. Sorry it's a day late. I wasn't around a computer. Ok. So long for now!

You Put Your Arms Around Me and I'm Home
Hello. I know it's been a loooooonnnggg time since I posted, but I finally have time to do so! Kinda. Maybe. So today was the second day of the Young Women in Computing middle school camp. I know, I know. What happened to the first day? Well, I didn't really have time to blog about it, so I just decided to skip it. But it was fun. Today was even better.
It started off with me waking up happy. That feeling doesn't happen very often for me at all. I woke up feeling happy today because I feel like I'm finally at home. I love being a camp assistant, and working with the amazing YWiC gang is so awesome. The girls are a good group this year, and I get to work with Sofi and Galen! They are some of my favorite people in the world. And to be with them for the majority of the day just makes me so happy.
Anywho. So camp got started with pencil code and we did a turtle treasure hunt. The footsteps needed were far too big for the girls in my group, so we had to figure out where we had to go. Thankfully, I already knew where we needed to end up, so it wasn't that hard. I made an awesome house using pencil code afterwards. I'll post a pic when I can.
Lunch was amazing Andales. I love their food. I called dibs on the leftover cheese sauce. I'm gonna be here for more almost 12 hours. To some, that may be kinda boring or maybe even a drag. But for me, it's heaven. I love this place. The only time I'm happy is when I'm either in the computer science building, when I'm with friends, or when I'm in my girlfriend's arms. To be in this building and with friends is just amazing. I will not have a sad moment here at these YWiC Camps.
I realize that this post isn't really about my day. It's more about how I felt this day. Oh well. This is my way to vent, so vent I shall! I hope Lilia and Leah come to the movie night thing. I would love it if Lesli could come, but I'm pretty sure she is still out of town. Oh well. I cannot wait to watch Frozen with Galen. It will be so fun. Ok. So long for now!
